Shamanic & Spirit Work
Soul Retrieval
Overview, Who Is It For, and What To Expect During Your Session
Soul Retrieval is one of the core practices of shamanic healing, based on the understanding that trauma causes fragments of the soul to dissociate and leave — a protective mechanism that allows a person to survive overwhelming experiences. This loss of soul essence is understood to be the root cause of chronic depression, numbness, dissociation, and the persistent feeling that "something is missing."
A shamanic practitioner journeys into non-ordinary reality to locate and return these lost soul parts, bringing them back along with the gifts and qualities they carried with them when they left. Clients often describe feeling "more themselves" after a retrieval — more present, more vital, more whole.

What to expect in a Soul Retrieval session
The practitioner will journey on your behalf, typically to the rhythm of a shamanic drum. They will search for soul parts that are ready to return and negotiate their safe return. After the journey, they will blow the retrieved essences into your heart and crown, and share the stories, images, and gifts that came back. Integration practices will be offered.
Typical session length: 75–120 minutes
